This individual should be self-motivated and detail oriented.
Willing, and able to follow up with others to meet deadlines and ensure that accounting stays up to date.
This person will report directly to the CFO but will work with the entire accounting team.
Regular responsibilities will be assisting in the day-to-day accounting and balancing of the company's ledgers.
Preparing sales invoices/credit memos for customer accounts and will be responsible for making sure that all invoices and/or credit memos are sent out to the customers in a timely manner.
Check and verify information to ensure accuracy prior to processing of the invoice.
Provide copies of invoices, credit memos, etc.
to internal or external customers when requested.
Investigate refund requests, payment deductions, A/R account issues.
Contact customers with delinquent account balances via telephone and/or email.
This person may also be asked to take on additional tasks including but not limited to payroll reconciliation, submitting building permits for payment and various payments to vendors.
Full time position; on site (No Remote work available).
Looking for 2 to 3 years' experience in sub-contracting accounting or similar field.
Experience with CF Data software a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel Job Type:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
